Every Croquet club derives its name from its locality which is why we are known as Angmering Croquet Club, albeit that our club was born here at Ham Manor ten years ago.
Angmering Croquet Club is celebrating its 10th year at Ham Manor and incorporates the experience of a number of seasoned players, one qualified coach and members only too happy to encourage others. It is a registered member of both the Croquet Association and the South East Croquet Federation.
It has a very sociable and flexible ethos which welcomes members to follow their own particular inclinations, whether they are for exercise and pleasure, or of a more competitive nature. There are frequent internal fun matches as well as fixtures with other clubs for those who wish to participate - club equipment is available for members` use for as long as required.
The Club meets at 10.00 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays and 2.00 p.m. on Wednesdays during the Spring and Summer months and 10.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. respectively during the Autumn and Winter. It is however possible to play every day of the week all through the year, weather permitting, and members are encouraged to take full advantage of their membership.
Angmering Croquet Club members are also Social Members of Ham Manor and as such enjoy the superb facilities the Club House offers such as the excellent restaurant, the opportunity for inclusion in all the social events and not least, glorious surroundings in which to play.
